EV Initiative
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
EV Initiative ("EV Initiative," "we," "us," or "our") operates evinitiative.com and our related digital properties (collectively, the "Sites"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Sites, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
If you are a California resident, please also review our California Privacy Notice, which supplements this Policy.
Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. When you submit a form, request information, request our investor deck, express interest in an investment opportunity, contact us, request a hardware quote, inquire about our software, or apply to host a charging site, we collect the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company or organization, property address and details, investor type, intended investment range, and any message or other information you include.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit the Sites, we and our service providers automatically collect information about your device and your interaction with the Sites, including your IP address, browser type, device type and identifiers, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this information using cookies and similar technologies, analytics tools, and session-analytics tools that may record interactions such as mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling (for example, heatmaps and session replays).
Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from our service providers, our analytics partners, the SEC-registered funding portal that hosts our offerings, and publicly available sources.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Sites, remember your preferences, measure and analyze traffic and usage, protect against fraud and abuse, and improve our content and services. Some of these technologies are provided by third parties, including Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity (which provides heatmaps and session replay), and Cloudflare (which provides privacy-focused, cookieless analytics and bot protection).
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse or delete them. Some features of the Sites may not function properly without cookies. Where required, we honor recognized browser-based opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC).
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiries and provide the information, documents, or services you request;
- record and follow up on expressions of interest in our investment opportunities;
- communicate with you, including administrative messages, updates, newsletters, and marketing communications, from which you may opt out at any time;
- operate, maintain, personalize, and improve the Sites and our products and services;
- process and fulfill hardware orders and quote requests, and provide customer support;
- detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use and other agreements; and
- carry out any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or with your consent.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information in the following circumstances:
Service providers. We share information with vendors that perform services for us, such as hosting, data storage, analytics, email and communications delivery, payment processing, customer relationship management, bot and fraud prevention, and community hosting. These providers are authorized to use your information only as needed to provide services to us.
Investment offerings. Expressions of interest and related information may be shared with the SEC-registered funding portal or broker-dealer that administers our offerings, and with our professional advisers, in connection with a potential investment.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information when we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of EV Initiative, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
With your consent. We may share information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.
Third-Party Services and Links
The Sites may link to or integrate third-party websites and services, including our community platform, our hardware store and its payment processor, and the funding portal that hosts our offerings. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. You provide information to us at your own risk.
Your Choices
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails. You may request to access, correct, update, or delete personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the information below. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights, including those described in our California Privacy Notice.
Children's Privacy
The Sites are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Investment Information
Information you submit regarding any investment opportunity is an expression of interest only and creates no obligation on your part or ours. This website is not a broker-dealer, funding portal, or investment adviser. All investment opportunities are offered exclusively through an SEC-registered funding portal or broker-dealer and only by means of official offering documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Nothing on the Sites is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Sites after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
