Fake App Removed!

A third-party app that was incorrectly using the EV Initiative name has now been officially removed from the App Store. While it was originally published with our early consent in 2022, the app quickly failed to meet our standards and caused major confusion among users.

There were alarming app reviews such as:

"Seems like it was coded by a child... I’m worried it’s a fraud." "App said 4 cents/minute but charged me $32.86." "seems kind of low budget and I’m not sure if I trust it with my credit card info.""So incredibly bad. I honestly think this EV initiative company... is designed to thwart EV adoption."

EV Initiative has no affiliation with that app or platform. We’ve since built our own secure and reliable software, including our Virtual Point of Sale (VPOS), and are preparing to launch the official EV Initiative app — developed in-house to reflect the quality and trust our community deserves.
