🚨 Mission Hills x Tesla: Major Progress Update

We just wrapped an incredible kickoff call with Tesla’s team, and here’s what you need to know.
Mission Hills isn’t just another charging site; Tesla confirmed it’s going to stand out in their entire Supercharger for Business program. The destination design, food-truck pad, robots, safety, and cinematic screens are all aligned with what drives the highest-traffic locations in their network.
Tesla’s own data backs the strategy: Sites next to premium amenities (think In-N-Out) consistently outperform average charging locations. Exactly the lane we’re building in.
🤝 Community-Owned Model = Differentiator
Tesla made it clear: No one else in their program is doing what we’re doing.
Our fractional, community-ownership model is unique, and it matters.
⚡ Hardware Strategy Confirmed
Tesla walked us through why our current V3.5 cabinet allocation is actually an advantage for Mission Hills:
-
Slightly slower charging = 15–20 minute dwell
-
That dwell time is ideal for:
- ordering from the drink robots
- grabbing snacks
- watching cinematic content
- feeling safe and staying longer
V4 cabinets will be available in in late 2026/early 2027, and they may be better suited to Nordhoff or Balboa applications that require maximum throughput.
