Mission Hills | Audio System Layout (4-Zone Design)

Sharing a first look at the audio system layout for EVII Mission Hills. This isn’t background noise. It’s part of the experience we’re building.
The site is divided into four independent audio zones, each designed for how people actually move through the property.
Zone 1 – Charging Bays (Outdoor, 19 Stalls) This is the core of the site. Clean, evenly distributed sound under the canopies so drivers get a calm, consistent atmosphere while charging. No hotspots. No dead zones. Just balanced coverage where people are standing, sitting, and moving.
Zone 2 – Retail / Vending Area (Outdoor) Focused audio near the vending machines and robotic barista. Clear enough to feel intentional, quiet enough to avoid spill into the charging lanes. This is about comfort and dwell time, not volume.
Zone 3 – Washrooms (Indoor) Subtle, controlled audio for a clean, finished feel. Small detail, big perception upgrade.
Zone 4 – Staff / Back-of-House (Indoor) Separate control for operations so staff audio needs never interfere with the public experience.
Why this matters • Each zone is independently controlled through a central DSP system • Volume, timing, and content can evolve as the site matures • Sets the foundation for future features like cinematic audio tie-ins, branded soundscapes, and special events • Reinforces that this is a destination, not just a charging lot
This is one of those systems most people won’t consciously notice — and that’s exactly the point. When it’s done right, everything just feels better.
More behind-the-scenes build details coming soon.
